I am an Artist based in East London, deeply rooted in a family tradition of creativity. With both my Mum and Grandpa as artists, painting has been an intrinsic part of my life, shaping my identity and guiding my artistic journey from a very young age.

My artistic style has evolved significantly over the years. Initially, I was drawn to creating large-scale paintings that leaned towards the abstract. However, a profound shift has occurred in my practice, steering me towards a more figurative approach. This transformation has been fuelled by a growing fascination with the representation of female energy and how it can be expressed through my work.

My paintings recently have explored the duality of strength and femininity in women. I am captivated by the idea that women can embody both fierce independence and gentle grace simultaneously. This exploration has led me to the rich tapestry of Western Cowboy culture. The juxtaposition of cowboy boots and hats—symbols of rugged masculinity—with soft, feminine colour palettes and imagery allows me to challenge and blend traditional gender roles.

My latest works are a testament to this duality. They feature iconic elements of cowboy attire, reimagined through a lens that celebrates both the powerful and the delicate aspects of femininity. This harmonious blend invites viewers to delve into the complex interplay of gender expression and empowerment.

I am thrilled to be collaborating with the Dyás. I am excited to see how my paintings translate onto their beautiful garments, infusing the wearer with the same bold, 'bad-ass' energy that drives my work.
